Education

Received Doctorate in Optometry at Southern California College of Optometry.


Experience


1966, Officer Training, Commissioned 1st Lieutenant, Medical Service School at Sheppard Air Force Base in Wichita Falls, Texas.  Served in the eye department of Barksdale Air Force Base in Bosier City, La.  Upon discharge from the Air Force Dr Eldridge joined the staff of the Kaiser Permanente Medical Group specializing in contact lens fitting.  


Dr Eldridge entered private practice in Beverly Hills, Ca in 1974 and has been at that location ever since.

1971-1972, Investigator for Hydrocurve Contact Lens Company

1972-1973, Abstractor for The British Contact Lens Company.

1979-1983, Investigator for Ryncon Industries.

1979-1989, Member of the Executive Board of the Los Angeles County Optometric Society

1987-1989, President of Executive Board of the Los Angeles County Optometric Society

1996-1997, Examiner for the California State Board of Optometry

1998, Examiner for the National Board of Optometry

1998-2002 President of Board of Directors of VOSH (Volunteer Optometric Services for Humanity)

2003-Present, Investigator for Bausch and Lomb contact lens studies.

1991-Present, annual eye care missions to developing countries. 

1979-Present, Volunteer at Los Angeles Free Clinic as staff member.
